In Spring 2021, Humboldt-Universität will open a public place of science at one of Berlin's most prominent and central locations: the Humboldt Lab in the Humboldt Forum. The Humboldt Lab is a living workshop of ideas in which top research enters into dialogue with the public.
Covering an area of about 1,000 square meters, the Humboldt Lab provides insights into the diversity and relevance of science. Visitors from all over the world can get an idea of scientific search and knowledge processes and interdisciplinary work. They experience that and how scientific research affects the everyday life of everyone.
In its first exhibition in the Humboldt Lab, Humboldt-Universität presents the current research of the clusters of excellence of the Berlin University Alliance. In this alliance, some of the most pressing issues of our time are being investigated in an interdisciplinary manner. The spectrum ranges from the crisis of nature to the crisis of democracy.
The Humboldt Lab sees itself as a place for networking, discussion, exchange, interdisciplinarity and internationality, including productive debate. You are most welcome to visit us!
